Feel the Heat

Understandably, most of our clients at Burlodge are content to see us simply as an equipment supplier. No surprise there, but it’s also important to appreciate that businesses are multifaceted. There is the ‘what we do’ side of business and there is the question of what our bigger purpose is. That is, how is our equipment helping clients achieve their goals in a way that goes above and beyond our fundamental role.

Our bigger purpose is to advocate for fresh ingredients and to promote nutrition in everything that we do. How we equip our clients intends to make sure they can prepare

food with the greatest efficiency, but also to provide great nourishment. That’s how we really prefer to see our equipment being used. We realize this is a challenging daily goal given the tight budgets that many of our clients work with.

That’s why a few years ago, in the interests of furthering this side of Burlodge’s mandate, we launched a food-focused site dedicated to improving nutrition. Kitchenheat.ca is Burlodge North America’s initial foray into providing some helpful tips around health, food, menus and other kitchen related issues. Consider it a helpful and interesting resource that covers a variety of topics while also serving as inspiration when looking for ideas.

Trust us, in this era when food fanatics rule on both traditional and social media platforms, we have we have no illusions about trying to compete with hardcore food sites. Still, take the opportunity to have a look around and you may be pleasantly surprised to learn that we are indeed much more than just a supplier of innovative food service equipment.
